Meeting Rooms A & B Combined

Join us for a panel discussion featuring clips from the documentary by Ken Burns, Lynn Novick & Sarah Botstein: "The U.S. and the Holocaust."

The documentary examines how the American people and leaders responded to one of the greatest humanitarian disasters of the 20th century and how this catastrophe challenged America's identity as a nation of immigrants and the very ideals of democracy.

In conjunction with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and the American Library Association's Americans and the Holocaust: A Traveling Exhibition for Libraries, the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library has planned an accompanying event series to explore important themes related to the exhibition. This event is part of that series.
