With Timothy Pinnick, acclaimed author, speaker, and genealogist, you'll learn research strategies and find out about specific documents to trace Black ancestors.

Register whether you're attending in person or virtually; if you attend virtually, you'll receive a Zoom link.  Participants will receive a copy of A Genealogist's Guide to Discovering Your African-American Ancestors: How to Find and Record Your Unique Heritage. Supply is limited to the first 25 in person participants. This program has been made possible through a grant from Indiana Humanities in cooperation with the National Endowment for the Humanities.
