Create family memories as you spend time together reading the old Russian Folktale, The Little Red Hen. Then bake some bread and let the learning begin! For families with children ages 3+.
Baking bread gives kids a sensory experience, math experience, language experience, and science too! In addition, kneading bread helps work those fine motor muscles which are so important for writing. Each family must register in advance to book a baking kit. The Little Red Hen Kit will be available on the second Friday each month to those who are registered. We ask that each family submit a photo on their social media of the preparation, eating, or finished product, and include: #KHCPLbakingclub. Only one kit per family please.
