Kitchen Explorers

Soft Pretzels and Dip

Calling all young chefs! Join us for a hands-on cooking series designed for kids ages 8-13 with experience in the kitchen.

In order to register, your child must be 8 years or older and independently reading and writing at a 3rd grade level. Supplies are limited to the first 20 participants; registrants are given first priority.

Each session focuses on building independence in the kitchen while creating fun and tasty recipes. Along the way, we'll explore food science, kitchen math, international cuisine, and skills such as measuring, mixing, cutting, and cooking safety. 

This program involves handling and consuming food. If your child has any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please inform library staff in advance. We will do our best to accommodate, but participation is at the discretion of the parent or guardian.
