I'm a Dirty Dinosaur

International Mud Day Celebration

Stomp, splash, slide, dive ... the little dinosaur in the book by Janeen Brian and Ann James just loves mud! We'll take our cues from the little dinosaur in the story to have fun outside in the mud!

International Mud Day encourages families to embrace messy play as a learning tool.

Mud Play Zones: Designated areas where kids can dig, squish, and explore mud in a safe, supervised environment.

Mud Art: A mud painting station where children can create art using mud as a medium.

Mud Kitchen: Children will create mud pies, muffins, and other concoctions.

Playing with mud stimulates the senses, especially touch, which is essential for early childhood development. Remember, a little dirt never hurt!
