Lights, camera, holiday action! Join the 48-Hour Film Contest: Holiday Edition! Register Dec. 5 downtown at First Friday. The film screening will be Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. in the Sun King Depot Room.
In this event, participants in the contest will receive their rule packet when they register on Friday, Dec. 5. Inside the packet, you'll find the location that must be featured in the video, a line that must be said, and the genre your video must be. Of course this is a holiday contest, so this must be a holiday film as well. Once you pick up your packet, the clock starts and you have 48 hours to write, record, edit, and submit your film.
Registration is required and can only be done from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5 at the Howard County courthouse square during First Friday. Registration can be done by one person on your team, meaning your entire team does not need to be present to register. The deadline for turning in your film will be Sunday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m.
The screening for all completed films will be on Friday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. on the second floor at Sun King Kokomo in the Depot Room. Once the screening is concluded, awards will be presented to the winning teams.
